Fall 2024 Snack Shack Volunteer FAQS
Dear Parents,
First of all, we want to extend our sincere thanks to all of our volunteers. The Snack Shack simply could not operate without your dedicated support. We applaud you for investing your time in your child and the league. Whether you’ve volunteered at the Snack Shack before or are new to helping out, please read through this entire document, as there have been some important changes.
Who can volunteer?
Adults and children over the age of 16 are welcome to volunteer at the Snack Shack. Please see below for information on the refund process for those who paid the $75.00 Snack Shack fee, as well as details on volunteer dates.
When can I sign up to volunteer at the Snack Shack?
Volunteer dates are released on a staggered schedule, with signups opening for each division. Please contact your team mom for information regarding your division's specific sign-up dates. If you miss your division's assigned sign-up dates and would still like to volunteer, please reach out to Kristin Hatton.

Where do I report for my shift?
The Snack Shack is located at Pan Am Park, across the street from Bancroft Middle School. Please arrive on time for your designated shift. If you are running late, notify the Snack Shack coordinator, Kristin Hatton, as soon as possible. There is 15 minutes grace period after 15 minutes you will be considered a no-show.
How do I receive my Snack Shack refund?
Snack Shack refunds can be picked up at the Snack Shack on any day it is open, within one week of your completed shift. To qualify for a refund, parents must:
- Have registered and paid the $75.00 Snack Shack Fee.
- Sign up for one Snack Shack shift.
- Be present for the entire 3-hour shift they signed up for.
IMPORTANT: No-shows or partial shifts will result in the forfeiture of your Snack Shack refund. Shift cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your shift. Cancellations are only valid if you have 1) logged into Team Sidelines to cancel and 2) communicated the cancellation to the Snack Shack Coordinator.
