Welcome to Long Beach Heartwell Fastpitch

Dear Long Beach Heartwell Fastpitch families, friends and sponsors,

Long Beach Heartwell Fastpitch (LBHFP) is a member of the LA/South Bay District of the USA Softball Organization providing recreational Junior Olympic softball to girls in the Community. If you are returning to the league, I thank you for choosing LBHFP again and for helping to keep our league as strong as ever. If you are new to our league, I welcome you to one of the finest girls’ softball leagues in the Los Angeles area, and encourage you to get involved in this great league.

LBHFP provides a great softball experience for girls ages 5 through age 14 in Long Beach, Lakewood and the surrounding cities starting in T-Ball (6U) all the way up through our High School Division. LBHFP is one of the premier leagues in the area, often competing in post-season District, State and National-level tournaments. We also take pride in the fact that we provide quality instruction to our players, coaches, managers and other volunteers through a variety of different sources, such as players’ clinics, coaches and managers’ clinics and scorekeepers’ clinics. Nearly all of our Coaches have one or more children playing in the league, so they have a vested interest in the success of the league. In addition, we have great volunteers working with us who do not have children in the league, yet return year-after-year to continually give back to the league, the community and your child.

In addition to quality instruction, we emphasize teamwork, sportsmanship and most importantly – having fun while learning and playing the great game of softball.

Lastly, we have a solid Board of Directors (20+ volunteers) committed to making sure this is a great season for you and your daughter(s), so on behalf of the Board of Directors I thank you in advance for your support and cooperation this season.
